February with Katherine Dyer - Stop winging it in your business and start being strategic.
Katherine is the founder of The Pocket Strategist and has worked with over 200 small business owners, freelancers and consultants to help them grow their businesses without burning out, or losing themselves in the process.
In this relaxed Happy Hour session, Katherine will talk about what working more intentionally and strategically actually looks like in a small business, consultancy or freelance business, and why it matters when time, energy and headspace are limited. She will share practical ways this approach can bring clarity, focus and a greater sense of control, often by doing less but doing it better, without adding more to your plate. After a short talk, the session will be followed by an open Q&A where you can ask anything about your business, from day to day challenges to bigger growth decisions.
March with Chloe Myers - Building your boundaries whilst building your business
As a founder, you’re passionate about getting great results for your clients. You’re happy to put the hours and effort in to make that happen because you love what you do!
But as you grow your business, you can’t go the extra mile for everyone or you’ll be on the fast track to burnout. Your boundaries become more important than ever - but it usually takes crossing them a few times before that sinks in!
Our guest speaker for March is Chloe Myers, accredited coach and author of Work Hard, Rest Hard, Play Hard. Chloe was a sandwich carer (caring for parents and children) for several years and has a background in the charity sector. She knows the pressure and guilt of multiple conflicting responsibilities, and knows that being a hero isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
She’s going to be sharing some tips about how you can “take your cape off” and empower your clients whilst holding strong boundaries.
