Co working Desk Hire Agreement T&C’s
At The Good Space we aim to create a respectful, sustainable and pleasant environment for all. Therefore, we ask that users of The Good Space treat shared spaces as if they were their own. By implementing these practices, we can ensure that the premises is used effectively and respectfully, contributing to a more productive and peaceful co working environment.
Resources
Shared resources such as printers and kitchen appliances are there for the benefit of all users. Please be mindful of others and leave shared resources as you left them. Likewise, we expect users to be considerate of other workers’ belongings. Using someone else’s space or equipment is discouraged and personal boundaries should be respected.
Our wifi
We have super fast fibre in the space, so that you are always connected. Mobile phone signal varies within the buildling, so please bear that in mind when visiting us.
Noise
While interaction and collaboration are actively encouraged, users should be mindful of their noise levels. Keeping voice volume low when talking on the phone or taking part in a videocall can help maintain a productive atmosphere for everyone. We ask that videocalls be taken in the downstairs area.
Respect
We believe that everyone has the right to feel safe, comfortable and respected whilst at work. If ever this is not the case, or in the event of any disagreements or grievances, users should always feel able to speak with a member of The Good Space team in order to help find a resolution.
Security & Data
In a coworking environment, where various entities utilise the same digital platform, stringent adherence to network and data security protocols is not just advisable—it’s essential. Users must inform a member of The Good Space staff if they receive a phishing or scam email, or if there has been a data breach, so that the network can be checked and passwords changed. Any network security breaches will be communicated to other users, and the wifi password will be updated 6 months. Users must ensure that they lock their devices when away from their desks, and we advise that you exercise caution when sending sensitive data over the shared wifi network, possibly using a VPN where necessary.
Immediately report any unusual network activity or suspected security breaches to the coworking space management. Early detection is key in preventing wider security issues. Stay alert to phishing scams. Avoid interacting with suspicious emails, links, or downloads from unverified sources
Food
Please let us know if you have any food allergies. It is important that we know this for your own safety.
We have a microwave to heat up your breakfast and lunch. Our place is open, so please avoid foods that may leave a strong smell throughout the space.
Let’s be as green as we can
Creating a green workspace - turn things off when not in use, try to only use what you need, make use of the available recycling bins.
